For this project we repurposed an old nineteenth century milk-house into a three season cabin. The project was essentially twofold. First we relocated the 12’x20’ milk-house onto a different part of the clients’ property. Once we had dug the foundation and installed perimeter drainage, we installed granite blocks to set the building on. After moving the building with a crane, we re-sided it, framed in a new wall for custom screen windows, shored up the roof, restored and rehung the original doors, and built two custom screen doors.
