This large timber frame home was designed to meet the clients young families needs. It was designed with 16” deep rafters, to be filled with dense-pack cellulose, and then the whole building was wrapped in GUTEX, an environmentally sustainable wood-fiber insulation board. All of the white pine came from Vermont. By using local wood, sustainable insulation, and high-performance house wrap, this build truly embraced green-building with no compromises.
